VICTOR froze, then ran. Barreling down the stairs from the impossible fourth floor of the Macallister building, Carl right behind him. On the way down he gets VERDANCE, who was attempting to question Michelle Vanfitz about the King in Yellow.  Through the door VERDANCE hears radio chatter and a man's voice, muffled and distant. " Griffith, we gotta torch this fucking place come on ". Thinking it's the Basilisk Group, she gives the door the boot and enters. Vanfitz's room is now bigger than it was. Impossibly so. Corridors lined with bookshelves stretching down long, yellow hallways.  VICTOR rounds the door frame and sees the impossible room. They quickly enter and search for the play, the King in Yellow. VICTOR finds a dictionary, The English-Tartessian Dictionary, on Vanfitz's bed, VERDANCE finds the play on a coffee table. 10 May 1999 Following information discovered by Special Agent Jean Qualls in her "interrogation" of Werner Linz, a sorcerer of the Karotechia, V-Cell learned of an ongoing operation in the city of New Orleans, Karotechia operatives part of the "Basilisk Group" militia were ordered to attempt to seize an "item of high significance" to the Karotechia in the possession of one Abigail Wright of New Orleans.  Delta Green tapped a Friendly to perform a cursory investigation and discovered that Wright had been missing since February, and that the Basilisk Group had already made a brutish and unsuccessful attempt at claiming this "item of significance" from her apartment. Moreover, the discovery of an occult symbol affiliated with demonology found in Wright's apartment by the Friendly indicated that something strange and unnatural was indeed at hand. The agents return after having tailed Father Yohn and the priests, secure in their judgement that he and his posse must be somehow responsible for Father Szary's death, and in some way, responsible for the mystery affliction at the Kings County Medical Centre. INDIGO does more digging in what she recovered from Gleeson's personal computer, including her research into the occult, on Szary's advice. Her research focused on the history of the Gowdie family line. Her research revealed that the Gowdies were once of Scotland, and that an Isobel Gowdie had been tried for witchcraft there in 1662. Further research indicated relatives of Gowdie relocated to the colonies in New England, and later on were tried again on suspicions of witchcraft in Salem, records name a "Tabitha...

"In Entertainment news today, New York rock band Charnel Dreams and their label, Conqueror Worm Records, have once again found themselves in hot water. The controversy comes from the band's newly released single " Buried, Uninterred" . The song, released ahead of Charnel Dreams' upcoming album " The Looking Glass " makes allusions to the ongoing hunt for the Subway Butcher and the Butcher's crimes, including explicit lyrics detailing the murder of the Butcher's first victim, Dianne Carroway, in 1996. The song then goes on to allude that the victims live with the Butcher in a highly explicit subterranean afterlife together. The FBI, who have been investigating the murders for three years, were asked for a comment, we have yet to hear any reply. And in other news, in two weeks it will be the one-year anniversary of the Townshend Flood.  Part 2 - " Controlled Environment" Ambience 7:00 PM - 19 April 1999 MONTY returns from the library after having done some research on The Damascus Syndrome, discovering it to be an internet chatroom and forum focused on discussing the topic of nuclear disarmament, with no discernible connection to Majestic, Delta Green, or the operation at hand. While MIRIAM and MORGAN sleep, MARCUS and MONTY go to watch the skies, believing they'll spot Grey spacecraft, or perhaps a Majestic stealth helicopter. They spot no such craft. A quarter-mile away, some townsfolk gather in a backyard for a fire, music, and beer, enjoying the first night of decent weather since the start of Spring. MONTY and MARCUS' attention is then directed an armored truck coming down a service road. Through his binoculars, MONTY spies a U.S Department of Energy logo on one side.  The truck stops underneath a telephone pole and the back door opens. Part Four: " Nearer, My God, to Thee " Parts One , Two , and Three Writers note: This, and the next few, weren't written right after their sessions, and so certain details are going to only be half-remembered. Apologies if it gets confusing.  7:00 AM, 11 March, 1999. Queens, New York.  I-Cell (and Nancy) awaken, haunted by what transpired at the morgue. Irena doesn't feel sick after a night's rest. No weird dreams, no surprise visits in the night.  The STOKER team fixates on two persons of interest. Imogen decides to lean on the resources of the IRS to investigate Amber Gowdie, the subject of Father Rozsavolgyi and Szary's fateful exorcism in 1980, meanwhile, Irena and Isaac meet with Gabrielle Gleeson, the gay rights activist who had become a close confidant with Father Szary, posing as journalists. Indigo decides to investigate Gleeson through less direct means, and looks to hack her personal electronics. All the while, Nancy takes the day to surveil Father ...
